Location: Sedgefield / Darlington | Salary: Up to £45,000 | Call Out: 1 in 4 (£150 standby) | Hours: Monday–Friday | Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
We’re recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a facilities maintenance team supporting a large commercial contract in the Sedgefield/Darlington area.
This is a client‑facing role offering long‑term stability, strong benefits and a highly professional working environment.
The Role
* PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial gas systems
* Working on boilers, heating systems, pumps and associated plant
* Fault finding, repairs and remedial works
* Supporting compliance and statutory maintenance
* Working closely with the client and wider engineering team
* Participating in the on‑call rota (1 in 4)
Requirements
* Commercial Gas Qualifications (ACS / Gas Safe)
* Experience within FM or commercial building maintenance
* Strong fault‑finding ability
* Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
