Role: Specialist Support Worker
Salary: £28,080 per annum (night working includes additional pay with an ability to earn up to £31,449 per annum full time)
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week. To meet the needs of the service working patterns and hours will include evenings, weekends and night shifts. Shifts are 12 hours and 15 minutes.

Our service in Leeds is a new supported living service for 4 clients who are deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions. British Sign Language (BSL) or a willingness to learn BSL (full BSL training will be provided)
Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health challenges where diagnosis is complex and may present challenging behaviour
Experience of working in supported living services/or residential care services
Experience of Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) or are you willing to undertake this training
You will become a key worker to a client, supporting them with independent living skills, emotional support, monitoring of their medication and where appropriate maintain safety, privacy and dignity in accordance with CQC regulations and organisation policies and procedures.
