Birmingham Newman University is seeking an exceptional academic to join the School of Business and Law as Principal Lecturer in Business Management. This pivotal role will lead the postgraduate business portfolio, currently our new MBA and MSc International Business Management, driving their growth, reputation, and success in both UK and international markets.
Reporting to the Head of Subject for Business, you will take Programme Leadership responsibility for our postgraduate business programmes, ensuring they remain academically rigorous, market-responsive, and aligned with the School's strategic priorities. You will also play a key role in shaping the next phase of our postgraduate development, introducing innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and programme design.
The postholder will teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate Business and Management programmes, and contribute to the School's research and/or professional practice, and knowledge exchange strategies. You will also lead innovation initiatives across the School - such as enterprise, entrepreneurship, and other strategic projects - that enrich the student experience and enhance the School's profile.
