Teaching Assistant Role – LS11 Leeds
As a Teaching Assistant in Leeds, you will support pupils with a variety of needs, including:
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
ADHD and learning difficulties
You will play a key role in delivering inclusive education, helping students engage in learning, build confidence, and develop independence in line with the Leeds SEND local offer.
Key Responsibilities (TA Jobs Leeds):
Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation (SEMH support)
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and differentiated learning
Implement targeted interventions to support pupil progress
Build strong relationships to support pupil wellbeing and engagement
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements for Teaching Assistant Jobs in LS11:
Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
