Talent, National Events and Learn to Swim Welfare Officer
We are seeking a Talent, National Events and Learn to Swim Welfare Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The role is 35 hours per week and will be home-based, with regular travel to events and to our SportPark Office in Loughborough.
Salary: £32,680.80 - £34,496.40, dependent on skills and experience

About the Role
You will act as an independent point of contact for all aquatic disciplines within talent, national events, and learn to swim programs. Your responsibilities include investigating welfare complaints within the talent programme, at national events, and for Swim England swim school members.
Your duties will involve reporting and addressing issues through the correct channels and in accordance with Wavepower, particularly reporting all welfare and safeguarding concerns internally to the Swim England Safeguarding team. You will work closely with the national events team to ensure effective welfare and safeguarding practices across all national events and provide both on-site and off-site support as Welfare Officer. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Learn to Swim team to offer relevant welfare support to swim school members.
We are looking for someone with experience or knowledge of a performance environment in sport, along with experience in safeguarding and welfare concerns. A strong commitment to fostering a positive welfare environment, ensuring sports are safe spaces for all, is essential. You will be required to attend events or competitions regularly and visit swim schools as needed.
