We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven communication skills who can drive the provision of behaviour, wellbeing and SEMH support forward, maintaining established links with internal and external partners and establishing new links in order to ensure comprehensive support mechanisms are available to promote positive mental health amongst our learners. As a Lead Adviser for Behaviour, Wellbeing and SEMH you will undertake initial assessments of pupils presenting with issues that are impacting on them and make recommendations for a plan of support, including providing individual intervention and support to empower pupils to manage their own wellbeing and behaviour. The Lead Adviser for Behaviour, Wellbeing and SEMH will provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential, or accessing the curriculum. The Lead Adviser for Behaviour, Wellbeing and SEMH will work with a range of pupils but give priority to those who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages.
