Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a fast‑growing commercial insurance brokerage in Kent who are seeking an SME Commercial Insurance Broker to manage and grow a mixed book of SME property and commercial clients.
You’ll manage a portfolio covering: Property Owners (Commercial & Residential), Shops, Offices & Retail Units, Takeaways, Cafés, Restaurants and SME Commercial Combined.
Key Duties
* Managing SME renewals and ensuring strong client retention
* Handling and converting new business enquiries
* Completing fact-finds and preparing risk presentations
* Placing risks with a wide insurer panel and Lloyd’s markets
* Advising clients on cover, terms, and policy conditions
* Negotiating premiums and maintaining accurate CRM records
About You
* Experience in Commercial Insurance broking
* Knowledge of Property Owners or Commercial Combined
* Confident with renewals, new business and client communication
* Organised, proactive and commercially aware
