The Successful Account Manager will be able to manage and grow key accounts with some of the largest water companies in the UK, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and ensuring project success.Account Manager Responsibilities:Make commercial and technical presentationsYou will provide crucial feedback on product development and market insights to the Head of Wastewater.Demonstrate products to secure salesAttend water/wastewater conferences to identify new business opportunitiesParticipate in sales/commercial management meetings as required – as well as any relevant company-wide meetingsFoster strong relationships with key decision-makers in large UK water companies, to understand project requirements and expectationsRegularly communicate with customers to ensure project alignment, success, and satisfactionCollaborate with the wastewater technical support team to address customer needs and challenges promptlyProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accountsStay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growthProvide valuable insights into product development based on customer feedback and market trendsThe successful Account Manager: Proven track record in sales and account management within the water industryExperience working with large UK water companies and navigating complex, highstakes projectsA technical degree, or similar, would be idealWillingness to travel to/from meetings and trainings throughout the UK, including regular visits to our main office in Cwmbran, WalesClear indications of commercial acumen, with experience in dealing with customers in a technical business to business environmentStrong technical understanding, especially in the wastewater domainWorking knowledge of IoT devices will be advantageousComfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressureAbility to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and customer expectations.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsDue to the high volume of applications, we receive we are not always able to reply to all applications.
