Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete maintenance engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, contributing to various concrete-related tasks on construction sites. This role requires both physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
keeping our factory machines running, fixing plant and machinery breakdowns
* Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures, including foundations, slabs, and walls.
* Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to concrete work, ensuring safety and efficiency.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
* Perform basic welding tasks as needed for formwork or structural support.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns that may arise on-site.
* Supervise junior labourers as required, providing guidance and support in their tasks.
* Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
* Previous experience in concrete or tar plant work
* must be able to weld
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers is an advantage.
* Basic electrical experience is beneficial for understanding site requirements.
* Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating machinery effectively.
