Behaviour Teaching Assistant – English Teaching Assistant
Location: West Drayton
Pay: £110 – £125 per day | Full-time | Term-time only
Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential?
We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant with a focus on English to join our team in West Drayton and make a real difference in the classroom.
The Role:
* Support students with behavioural and SEMH needs during English lessons.
* Deliver 1:1 and small group literacy interventions to boost reading, writing and comprehension skills.
* Work alongside class teachers to implement behaviour management strategies and create a positive learning environment.
* Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND and additional needs, ensuring they feel included and engaged.
* Record progress, support behaviour monitoring, and encourage personal growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEMH or SEND setting.
* Confident in supporting literacy/English learning.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Patient, empathetic and resilient.
