Description As a Team Leader – Mentoring with BUSY At Work, you’ll play a key role in guiding and supporting a passionate team who help Australian Apprentices navigate challenges and achieve success. You’ll be the go-to person for advice, problem-solving, and quality assurance, ensuring mentoring activities are delivered with accuracy, care, and impact. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance team supervision, performance oversight, and continuous improvement, while fostering a positive and collaborative culture. Working closely with the Mentoring Manager, you’ll help shape strategies, build team capability, and ensure services meet contractual benchmarks—all while making a real difference in people’s lives. What an Everyday Looks Like No two days are the same, but you can expect to: Lead the team – support mentors with daily workloads, provide guidance, and step in as the first point of contact for questions or escalations. Quality check & coach – review support plans, run audits, and provide feedback to keep service delivery accurate, consistent, and client-focused. Problem solve & escalate – help resolve challenges quickly, and work with the Mentoring Manager on bigger-picture solutions. Drive improvement – identify training needs, share best practice insights, and encourage new ideas for better outcomes. Connect & collaborate – build strong relationships with apprentices, stakeholders, and other departments to support client success. Track & report – monitor KPIs, prepare updates on team performance, and celebrate wins along the way. This role is full time, fixed term until 30 June 2026 based in Southport. Demonstrated expertise in mentoring principles, techniques, and best practices, with a track record of supporting individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. Experience in providing mentorship to Australian Apprentices or individuals facing barriers to education or employment is highly desirable Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check Next steps This role will actively commence recruitment from the date of advertisement.
