We’re now recruiting a Patient Administrator to join our vibrant and friendly Bristol-based team. What You’ll Do You’ll be at the heart of our patient admin team—ensuring patients feel supported, consultants are well-organised, and our internal systems remain accurate and efficient. Key responsibilities include: Acting as a first point of contact for patients by phone and email, handling queries with warmth and professionalism. Booking, confirming, and managing appointments in line with consultant availability. Regularly updating clinic lists to ensure consultant schedules match hospital records. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date billing information is collected and logged for all patients. Monitoring and managing shared inboxes and general administrative correspondence. Supporting medical secretaries by: Checking and clearing printing queues daily. Ensuring copy prescriptions are sent to the correct pharmacy. Making sure all printed documents are correctly sorted and delivered to the right location. Liaising with consultants, secretaries, and external teams to ensure all information is coordinated smoothly. Maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards in all tasks. Requirements Maths and English GCSEs (Grades A–C / 4–9) or Functional Skills Level 2. Confident IT user with knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems. Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Friendly, clear communication style—both written and verbal. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a private healthcare or admin support role is desirable but not essential.
