Reporting to the Service Manager, the main purpose of the job is to carry out high standard diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to John Deere and other agricultural equipment for new and existing customers.
This is a customer-facing role which requires building strong customer relationships and delivering world-class customer service.
* Service and maintain John Deere and other agricultural equipment to the manufacturers’ specifications.
* Repair and service machines according to the work plan to meet required standards.
* Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they operate at expected performance levels, reporting any defects or issues to the customer.
* Handle customer and company property with care.
* Provide excellent customer service at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance technical skills and expertise.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience – qualified technician with knowledge of machinery such as construction, agricultural, industrial, or commercial vehicles. Experience with field diagnostic tools is essential.
* Relationship Builder – ability to interact with customers and develop relationships that ensure positive experiences. Ability to document customer knowledge and technical operations.
* Communication – effective internal and external communication skills.
* Professionalism – present a professional image consistently.
* Valid driving license is essential.
