Prison Law Solicitor – Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support a team of prison law fee earners and consultants, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
* Conduct regular file reviews and performance evaluations to maintain professional excellence.
* Manage a personal caseload of complex prison law matters, including parole reviews, adjudications, recalls, and categorisation issues.
* Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members.
* Ensure exceptional client care and service delivery.
* Assist with audits, legal aid compliance, and reporting requirements.
* Support business development and team strategy.
* Oversee billing processes, including CRM18 cases, or help transition billing responsibilities internally.
