Within Reevy Road you will support individuals with a range of needs, including behaviour support, complex health care and personal intimate support. You will also support individuals to be part of the community. We endeavour to create positive family and professional relationships offering a good circle of support. Please note training will be offered after your probation period ends which is 6 months. Once you begin your training with us you will have your own coach who will support you through your programme.
Shift Patterns
You will be working a range of shifts from 7:00/8:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm and 2:00/3:00 pm to 9:00/10:00 pm.

supporting a full range of daily activities including personal intimate care, support with eating and drinking and involvement in the day to day activities in the home.

Stoma care
Catheter care
Supporting individuals to stay safe using positive risk assessments.
manual handling
supporting people with medication including creams and lotions
ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements using a digital recording system.
What skills and qualities do I need to have?
Whilst knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs would be beneficial, it isn't essential. flexible, patient and non-judgemental
able to complete the physical aspects of the role such as manual handling where needed
transferable experience of helping people to manage anxiety
