Overview

Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of driving sales? We’re looking for a Regional Director of Sales to take charge of three hotels in Scotland, shaping their commercial success and leading a high‑performing team to new heights.


What You’ll Do

As the Regional Director of Sales, you’ll be the driving force behind our commercial strategy, working closely with the Regional General Manager and Head of Sales & Marketing to deliver ambitious sales targets. Your role will combine strategic vision, proactive business development, and inspirational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

* Define and implement sales & marketing strategies for each hotel to achieve annual revenue goals.
* Analyse performance, review activity plans, and adapt strategies to maximise growth.
* Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to keep us competitive.
* Build and nurture key client relationships, ensuring retention and growth.
* Drive new business across all market segments using cutting‑edge tools and data insights.
* Lead negotiations on major bookings, ensuring seamless delivery from contract to guest experience.
* Mentor and develop a talented team of Sales Managers, fostering a culture of success.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to achieve individual and collective targets.
* Champion initiatives that embed a strong sales culture across the region.


Ideal Candidate

* Proven Experience: 4+ years in the hotel industry in a proactive sales management or leadership role.
* Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve collective targets.
* Commercial Acumen: Skilled in financial analysis and budget planning.
* Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of local markets within the region.
* Sales Success: Track record of securing new business and delivering direct sales results.
* Territory Management: Expertise in maximising opportunities across defined regions.
* Account Management: Experience in both account development and new business acquisition.
* Data-Driven Approach: Ability to analyse sales performance and implement improvements.
* Networking & Organisation: Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Mobility: Full UK driving license.
