Responsibilities
* Promote a range of building envelope projects as a Technical Manager
* Manage and grow a team of draughtsmen and engineering contractors
* Coordinate technical delivery for commercial projects from pre‑construction to completion
* Provide technical support and nurture relationships with clients, architects and suppliers
* Visit site 1–2 times per week as required
* Keep up to date with relevant standards and company documentation to ensure compliance
* Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on technical aspects of the product range
* Oversee projects with values up to £10m
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Manager or a closely related technical position
* Proven technical understanding of façades, curtain walling, cladding, aluminium windows & doors or a related building envelope system
* Proven leadership and team‑management skills
* Strong problem‑solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Customer‑focused and orientated
