Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: £89.38 per day

We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Caerphilly.
About the Role:
- Work Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off!
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis with emotional, behavioural, or additional learning needs
- Small class sizes (max 10 pupils) and high staff-to-student ratio
- Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Use positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Assist the teacher and classroom team in day-to-day activities

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- A caring, compassionate and resilient personality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- SEND, SEMH, or youth work experience is a plus
- Team Teach certification is an advantage
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service) – or willing to apply
- EWC registration (guidance provided)
- Able to provide 2 professional references
- Reliable transport to Caerphilly
