This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the financial operations of a large and successful organisation, supporting both UK and Republic of Ireland activities.

You’ll partner with colleagues across the business to drive improvements, streamline processes and ensure robust financial control.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and reporting packs) with clear variance analysis
* Monitoring and forecasting working cashflow to support liquidity
* Ensuring compliance with VAT, ONS, and Intrastat returns
* Supporting all areas of the finance function including Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Expenditure
* Reviewing and maintaining sensitive nominal codes across P&L and Balance Sheet
* Posting journals and assisting with budgeting and reforecasting
* Ensuring timely and accurate bank reconciliations
* Overseeing supplier and employee payments
* Assisting with fixed asset management and depreciation
* Partnering with teams across the business to provide financial insight
* Reviewing and challenging monthly accruals
* Contributing to projects aimed at streamlining processes
* Supporting year-end audit preparation and other ad hoc tasks
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in a commercial finance environment
* Strong track record preparing management accounts with commentary
* Experience working with multiple currencies
* Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling experience desirable)
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Confidence to challenge existing practices and drive improvements
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
