Your role
You will be part of Sensor Systems UK, working in the Farnborough office. We value diversity and believe that different perspectives give us a competitive edge.
As a Quality and Configuration Manager, focusing on Software Development, you will support the Software Development and Software Engineering managers with Quality Assurance activities, support management with quality initiatives, and serve as quality support for line managers and staff.
This role emphasizes Software Quality Assurance (SQAE) supporting projects, working with the wider Sensor Systems UK organization. The SQAE is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on software quality assurance activities during development projects. You will also act as a Configuration Manager within projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software in line with the Software Engineering Management Plan. Additionally, you will perform internal audits and handle various quality management tasks.
Travel to Sweden and other locations may be required, and strong communication skills are essential. You will report directly to the Software Engineering Manager.
Your profile
We highly value your personality, especially your respectful and accepting attitude towards others. A technical background in Software Development, with a keen interest in quality assurance and operational excellence, is preferred.

Required skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or relevant field (preferably Software Development).
* Experience in Software Development Quality Assurance activities.
* Experience in Software Development Configuration Management.
* Audit experience.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or EN9100 standards.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
Desired skills:
* Additional education and experience in quality management.
* Knowledge of RTCA DO-278A and RTCA DO-178C standards.
* Experience with Saab's product portfolio.
* Leadership and coaching experience.
