A day in the life on the Revive Service & Restoration team Farmer Brothers’ Revive Service & Restoration experts keep commercial coffee and tea brewing equipment performing at its best. As a Coffee & Tea Brewing Systems Field Service Specialist, you’ll install, service, and remove brewing and beverage dispensing equipment for a defined customer base—while managing your parts inventory, closing service calls accurately, and documenting every assignment and hour worked. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with participation in an on-call rotation that includes after-hours and weekends. Travel: Drive within roughly a 100-mile radius in most markets; occasional regional trips may be required. What you’ll do Complete installs, repairs, and removals of designated coffee and beverage dispensing systems across your territory. Tackle planned and unplanned work: emergency calls, preventive maintenance, site surveys, and new installations. Join the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation to support customers when they need it most. Maintain van stock and spare parts; reorder within replenishment guidelines so you’re always ready. Own the paperwork: close calls, capture clear and thorough work details, finalize invoices, and secure all required customer signatures. Assist with planning, scheduling, and executing equipment installation projects. Communicate promptly and clearly with customers, teammates, and leaders. Share customer feedback and requests with management and partner departments. Honor customer program service level agreements and manage priorities to meet expectations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). 3 years of mechanical/technical experience (required). Foodservice background (preferred). Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus proficiency using test meters (preferred). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Comfortable traveling within a 100 mile radius of the branch. Skilled at troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. Able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently. Capable of handling both scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency calls, PMs, surveys, and installs.
