100AND10% are seeking a Web Developer / WordPress Developer to join our boutique, full-service, digital marketing agency to support the design and build of high-quality, conversion-focused websites for a wide range of clients. 100AND10% is a small, ambitious agency where attitude matters just as much as technical ability. With a team of 14 people (including a small number of trusted freelancers), everyone plays their part. This role comes at an important time for the business, as a long-standing developer transitions to freelance work, creating space for someone new to step in and make an impact on a series of exciting web and technical projects for high-profile clients focused in the fitness and sports industries.
As a Web Developer, you'll be building and supporting WordPress websites day-to-day, working on both client projects and ongoing improvements. Most builds use custom-coded blocks or Elementor, so you'll need to be confident across the core web stack and comfortable working on front-end layouts. You'll also help troubleshoot issues, support existing sites, and contribute ideas that improve performance, usability and conversion.
While WordPress is the core platform, there's scope to broaden your skills. The team works with a wider ecosystem including email and CRM platforms, analytics, tag management and SEO tools, alongside a stream of Umbraco/C# work too. We also support other web-focused technical projects for clients as we help them use digital tools to improve the efficiency of their business operations as well as websites for front-end marketing. Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn are genuinely valued here, as is using modern tools (including AI) sensibly to improve efficiency and quality.
Key Requirements: You should be a Web Developer, WordPress Developer, Front-End Developer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
* Strong experience building websites in WordPress
* Confidence with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
* Experience working with Elementor and/or custom WordPress blocks
* Familiarity with common WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, ACF and The Events Calendar
* Comfort working on front-end layouts (Bootstrap experience is a plus)
* Ability to build and integrate APIs, connecting front-end applications to internal and third-party APIs
* A practical, problem-solving mindset and willingness to support live sites
* An interest in learning wider digital platforms (CRM, email, analytics, SEO, tagging etc.)
* A proactive, positive attitude suited to a small agency environment
Any exposure to Umbraco/C# is advantageous but not essential.
