Responsibilities Deliver effective Computer Science lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject and promoting the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Tailor lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring a differentiated and inclusive learning environment. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in curriculum development activities, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Computer Science department. Maintain accurate student records and attendance records, adhering to school policies and procedures. Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Teaching qualification or certification (QTS, PGCE, etc.). Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the primary or secondary level. In-depth knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum and the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines. A passion for education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
