Barnardo's are seeking to recruit a Service Manager to support our service that covers Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. This role is part of our wider Employment, Training and Skills (ETS) service within Barnardo's that delivers employability and skills support across the UK.
Job Criteria:
- Knowledge of Safeguarding for children and vulnerable young adults
- Knowledge of SQA delivery and vocational qualifications
- Ability to develop and secure local funding opportunities via effective partnership working and support the preparation of funding proposals that meet the needs of key commissioners.
- Experience of leading people and ensuring key service performance indicators are met.
- Experience of service budgets and reforecasting
- Good knowledge and understanding of key local and national Employability policies and how this translates to service development.
