We are recruiting for a motivated team member to join our Beds division as a Quality Assurance Manager based in our offices in Leeds. Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Technical Product, the Quality Assurance Manager will be required to work closely with product development, quality control and the Head of Compliance and Technical Product to ensure product legality, safety and marketability. Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Compressed Hours) Key Duties: Regulatory & Legal Compliance Manage and maintain compliance with UK product regulations. Support technical documentation for mattress, divan and headboard compliance. Customer-Specific Standards Implement customer compliance requirements. Ensure the maintenance of testing, declarations and submission for portals for retail clients. Ensure labelling and product data match customer specifications. Certifications & Standards Support and maintain third-party certifications. Support ISO 14001 implementation and product-level environmental claims. Cross-Functional Support Work closely with the Head of Compliance and Technical Product, New Product Development, Quality Control, Purchasing and Production. Assist in change control reviews for component changes impacting compliance. Provide compliance input into product development and critical path discussions. Lead external audits/ISO 9001 Be the point of contact and lead for all external audits. Maintain and improve the QMS for continual certification. About You Key Skills & Experience: Strong working knowledge of UK product regulations and retailer standards. Detail-oriented, organised and confident in dealing with customers and auditors. Previous experience in a compliance, quality or technical role in mattress manufacturing or related industry is desirable Working to or with ISO9001 QMS standards. Experience with ISO 14001 and sustainability standards. Knowledge of European compliance and National Bed Federation standards.
