The role is responsible for leading stages during the off-net access delivery cycle, including identifying partners, assessing access feasibility, delivery, account settlement, supplier management, and service experience improvement. The objective is to ensure timely and cost-effective off-net quoting and delivery. This tactical role influences the operational plans based on business strategy, impacting the overall results of the business unit.
Responsibilities
* Identify national and regional access suppliers/partners and competition to deliver last mile connectivity.
* Lead negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners regarding contractual capabilities.
* Maintain strong relationships with access suppliers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Explore opportunities to grow business with key vendors through new portfolios and order types.
* Collaborate with product teams to develop new technology solutions with partners.
* Design effective off-net access solutions considering route maps, power and path diversity, tailored to local market needs.
* Support sales and cross-functional teams in negotiations for special pricing, non-standard offerings, and expedited delivery to enhance bid success.
* Finalize and renew vendor contracts for network maintenance and installation to ensure optimal operation.
* Conduct regular performance reviews with key suppliers covering pre-sales, delivery, and post-sales support.
* Contribute to planning for jeopardy and contingency management to meet delivery timelines.
* Experience in telecommunications, especially in managing telecom partners.
