Eleven Eleven Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Credit Controller.
Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Credit Controller to join their Credit Control Team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of the UKs leading investment companies, offering a competitive salary and hybrid working options.
The Role:
As Credit Controller, you will take ownership of your ledger, managing the full credit control process from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include conducting credit checks, issuing invoices and credit notes, overseeing dunning processes, and reporting on collection status directly to company directors.
This is a hands-on role offering real autonomy, combining credit control with elements of client account management. Youll be instrumental in improving systems and ensuring customers pay on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring prompt payment and effective fund recovery
Handle all stages of the credit control cycle from credit checks to issuing invoices and chasing overdue payments
Generate aged debtor reports and monitor credit insurance cover
Provide regular updates on collections to company directors
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
Suggest improvements to streamline credit control processes
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in a credit control role, with full-cycle credit control knowledge
Client account management experience is a strong advantage
Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Experience in broader finance assistant duties is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
