Role Were seeking a self-motivated, experienced administrator who can thrive in a fast-changing environment to join our Billing Team in the role of Billing Adviser. The ideal candidate will have Essential: Competent IT Skills including Microsoft Word & Excel Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Good time management with ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure Ability to work from own initiative, independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience: Working in a customer facing or customer services role Working with domestic and business customers Utility or billing Responsibilities and duties will include Accessing meter reading systems and downloading data Analysis of meter readings and consumption Preparing and generating bill runs Data input and preparation of customer accounts for billing services Identifying queries and liaising with internal departments to achieve query resolution Data collation for efficiency monitoring Schedule monitoring and review Contact customers to arrange engineer visits Any other ad-hoc duties as identified Education & Qualifications Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Salary and benefits Salary between £22,500 and £26,500 35 hour working week Monday to Friday between 8am and 6 pm Modern office environment Great transportation links and local parking Vibrant local shops and amenities Onsite staff facilities with complimentary tea & coffee Company social events
