About The Role
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse activities and maintaining the required service levels for customers.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods meet productivity targets and budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
* Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
* Working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry.
* Understanding of business and operational aspects of depot warehouse management.
* General knowledge of transport operations is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage and train colleagues.
* Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and disciplinary processes.
