About You
* It’s essential that you’ve had exposure to working in a laboratory with textiles, chemicals, coatings or dyes
* You should have an analytical mindset and be able to provide accurate analysis and reporting of your findings
* You’ll need to be a people-person and will enjoy collaborating with internal teams including product development and production
* With your high attention to detail, you will thrive on providing top-tier, critical information to your team
* You’ll have patience, independence and the desire to progress
* The ability to multi-task, prioritize and shift your focus is needed for this role
* Happy to work onsite 5 days per week
About The Role
* You’ll join as QC Technician and will work in support of the Product Development Manager; we’re looking for someone who will step up during periods of absence / holidays / peak periods
* Your primary responsibilities will be day to day testing of incoming samples, raw materials, in-process and finished goods using a variety of scientific equipment and methods
* You should have a good eye for colour and will need to undertake a test at interview stage
* You will record, review, file and report findings of all testing, escalating any anomalies and making suggestions for improvement
* Ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order, ready for next use
* The role is site based, 40 hours per week
