Part-Time (21 hours)/Permanent/Fraserburgh Campus
Salary: £43,974.32 - £46,336.29 pro rata per annum
Actual Salary: £26,384.59 - £27,801.77 per annum
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Librarian to work as part of our Library+ team based at Fraserburgh Campus. At each College site, the Library+ is at the heart of the Campus, providing learners and staff with access to a wide range of services and facilities to help support learning and teaching.
The successful applicant will:
1. Have a recognised degree in Librarianship or Information Management accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP);
2. Have Chartered Librarian status (MCLIP) or be working towards this.
3. Have experience working in an education library setting.
4. Be confident in developing and leading sessions relating to information literacies, study skills and digital skills.
5. Possess knowledge and understanding of print and electronic information resources and be able to demonstrate a range of pedagogical approaches to supporting learners to search for, access and use such information.
6. Have strong communication skills to work with lecturing staff to ensure curricular needs are being met.
7. Have experience providing excellent customer service
8. Have the ability to lead and manage a team.

1. Experience of working in a library/learning resource centre;

7. Broad understanding of technologies used for learning.
KNOWLEDGE
