I am looking for a Roofer to join a contractor in Cornwall. The Roofer will be responsible for general repairs on Social Housing properties. This is a permanent role, offering a van & fuel card
Day to Day responsibilities of the Roofer:
1. Undertake roofing repairs & maintenance
2. Diagnose roofing defects and implement effective repair solutions.
3. Carry out responsive repairs on occupied homes with sensitivity to tenants, this may include external works to the property as well.
4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and leave properties in a tenant-ready state
5. Identify and report additional works or potential hazards to supervisors
6. Work flexibly as part of a repairs and maintenance team, supporting colleagues and other trades where necessary
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
7. Full driving licence
8. NVQ in Roofing or equivalent trade experience
9. Experience of maintenance and repairs on roofing
10. Social Housing experience
