Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 and 1 in 4 Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team in Whitchurch branch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including 4 qualified dispensers and 1 trainee dispenserproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a busy high street setting. Currently dispensing around 7,000 items per month, this is a relatively steadybranch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities
10. Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
11. Oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
12. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
13. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
14. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
15. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
16. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
17. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
18. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
19. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
What We Require
20. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
21. Proven experience in a communitypharmacy setting with management experience preferred
22. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
24. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
25. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
26. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
