🔍 About the Role
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Purchasing / Procurement / Buyer Assistant to join a forward-thinking team in Holmewood, Chesterfield. You’ll work alongside the Product Manager and Supply Chain team, assisting with stock planning, supplier communication, and transport coordination.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing
*
Placing and tracking purchase orders
*
Coordinating transport with hauliers and managing logistics
*
Gathering pricing information and updating purchase records
*
Supporting with safety documentation (MSDS, COAs)
*
Maintaining accurate ERP/MRP system data
*
Working closely with operations, supply chain, and suppliers
*
Supporting continuous improvement projects across the department
✅ What We’re Looking For
*
Minimum 2 years’ purchasing/procurement experience
*
Strong communication and organisation skills
*
Fluent in written and spoken English
*
Experience with AX or similar ERP systems
*
Familiarity with HSE codes, transport, and duty regulations
*
A flexible, hands-on attitude with a focus on quality and supplier service
