The thriving team of Health Care, part of a busy department offering Health, Care, Science and Sport, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time Health Care Lecturer to teach primarily on our T Level Health Programmes and our new HTQ Level 4/5 Healthcare Professions' Support Programmes. The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and Adult Learning Programmes will play a part in the role, as well as teaching current practical clinical skills. The working week for this role is 18.5 hours.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Health, Nursing or appropriate Healthcare profession and practical experience in current clinical skills
- A Level 5 teaching qualification
- A proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning practices
- The ability to prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality, engaging, and dynamic lessons that support learners effectively
Additionally, having up-to-date subject knowledge and industry experience, as well as expertise in curriculum design and delivery, would be highly advantageous.
