Preston College are looking for a Lecturer to teach on the PGCE, teacher education course. You will plan and deliver sessions, in addition to creating and maintaining roadmaps to collaboratively plan and sequence learning, and you will also plan assessments. Working within the school, you will be part of a large team to create a stimulating and energising learning environment that helps our students achieve their goals. We are seeking someone who can establish open and trusting relationships with students, and develop learning materials that will help them achieve their qualifications and start a successful career. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of educational theory in classroom practice in teaching, learning and assessment. They will have effective communication, planning and organisation skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire.
