AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) focuses on driving revenue, adoption, and growth among small, mid-market, and enterprise customers, including the public sector. The AWS Support team partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.
[AWS China Introduction] AWS entered China in 2013 and has since expanded its infrastructure and services. It launched regions in Beijing (2016) and Ningxia (2017), added a Hong Kong region in 2019, and a Local Zone in Taipei in 2022. AWS has established labs in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Taipei, and has thousands of partners in China. It has supported over 10,000 startups and trained over 700,000 talents. AWS also runs renewable energy projects in China.
Key job responsibilities
· Drive revenue and market share in Retail & CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) in China, focusing on E-commerce or other assigned sub-verticals.
· Identify and engage Retail & CPG customers or other assigned customers.
· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
· Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans.
· Accelerate customer adoption.
· Maintain a sales pipeline and reporting.
· Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
· Explain (not implement) cloud computing, infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, data center services), and internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers).
· Develop case studies.
· Manage contract negotiations.
· Build strategic relationships with key accounts.
· Develop account plans for key accounts and territories.
· Ensure customer satisfaction through pre-sales and post-sales support.
· Expect moderate regional travel (North, East, South, Central).

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives.
· 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliance management experience.
· Preferred: Retail & CPG or e-commerce industry knowledge.
· Masters or MBA is a plus.
