About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, just like everyone else. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, assist the Home Manager with essential fundraising events, and foster social confidence among Residents. Whether developing new activity ideas based on Residents' hobbies or engaging the care team, you will do so with kindness at the forefront.
We are seeking someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to act on concerns. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
