We are working on behalf of a fantastic new special school based in North Bristol that is looking for 2 full-time SEND Learning Support Assistants to join them ideally immediately on a long-term basis. The school supports students with a wide range of special needs & disabilities, often with complex needs.
The school is part of an SEN Trust that is highly respected in Bristol, with excellent facilities at its new site. Having opened in September, they will be expanding classes from September, making it an exciting time to join.
The role
Both vacancies are within a new KS1 class of 8 students with SLD, PMLD & Complex needs (some students are non-verbal). The LSA's role involves supporting the class teacher proactively throughout the day.
Experience working with SEND, preferably in a school setting, is important. Experience with the Early Years model is also desirable.
