Carbost is an NHS Highland GP Practice situated in on the beautiful Isle of Skye. The practice works closely with Broadford and Sleat surgeries. We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Navigator / Dispenser to join our multi-disciplinary team.

The post will be based in Carbost Medical Practice 2 days per week.

You will be instrumental to ensuring our patients receive the right care from the right professional at the right time. To be successful in this role you will have good interpersonal and IT skills. You will be methodical with excellent attention to detail and you will be a team player. You will provide a comprehensive reception service to our patients and have a wide range of administrative duties. You should be proficient in dispensing medications with a certificate to confirm that or be willing to work towards this. This is an exciting role, within a friendly and supportive environment.

A development role may be available for the right candidate.

The Practice is open Monday to Friday, except Wednesdays from 0800 to 1800 hours and you will be required to work flexibly to ensure cover in times of annual leave or emergency

Additional Information For Candidates

Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
