Job Description:

Stoa Recruitment are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a major UK logistics group based in Carnforth, Lancashire. This is guaranteed Monday to Friday work, 52 weeks a year no gaps, no slow weeks, no last-minute cancellations. The work is live and we need the right HGV Class 1 Driver ready to go now.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be running Class 1 trunking routes out of Carnforth. Predictable routes, structured shifts, and none of the uncertainty that comes with multi-drop. Afternoon shifts are available choose what works for you.

This is an established logistics operation. The expectation is professional and the right HGV Class 1 Driver will have no shortage of shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Run Class 1 trunking routes out of Carnforth, Monday to Friday
• Choose from day or night shifts based on availability and preference
• Operate to schedule and maintain accurate tachograph records on every shift
• Complete pre and post-trip vehicle checks to a professional standard
• Represent yourself and Stoa professionally at the client depot at all times

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Valid Driver CPC card
• Digital tachograph card
• Clean or near-clean licence
• Immediate or short-notice availability

Nice to have:

• Previous trunking experience
• Flexibility across day and night shifts
