Head of Sales - Peppermint
~£55,000 - £70,000 + bonus (10-25% of salary) + Overtime
~ Hybrid 3-4 days per week
~ London, Kennington, Head Office

As the Head of Sales, you'll take the reins of our dynamic, high-energy team, spearheading new business wins, leading high-stakes pitches, and closing industry-defining deals. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of Peppermint-building powerhouse partnerships, exploring new markets, and ensuring our USP's stay ahead of the curve.

25 days + bank holidays annual leave + Birthday day off

~ Today, Peppermint services over 50 events and venues every year and has developed long-standing relationships with the likes of AEG, IMG, Brand Events and Live Nation. Peppermint has recently partnered with Levy UK and supports venues with premium F&B experiences - including The O2, Wembley Arena, Dreamland (Margate), The Piece Hall (Halifax) and the Johan Cruff Arena in Amsterdam. Peppermint operates the hugely popular Between The Bridges venues on the Southbank and has just opened a brand new venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park called Riverside East. In this pivotal role, you will report into the Commercial Sales Director - lead and manage a team of three, overseeing pipeline processes, tenders, and bids, ensuring all submissions are completed efficiently and strategically. You will prioritise opportunities, manage workloads, and steer the sales team towards achieving the company's ambitious goals.
You will play a vital role in identifying new business opportunities across the greenfield events, venues, and sports sectors, actively driving innovation and bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Additionally, your team will provide ongoing account management support to the Project Managers, ensuring seamless client relationships and service excellence.This is a high-impact, leadership position in a fast-growing company-ideal for a strategic, driven, and forward-thinking sales professional eager to shape the future of the events industry!
Team Management
Lead and manage the team ensuring clear performance objectives are set and regularly monitored via KPI's and Sales targets
Developing and measuring sales plans and targets in partnership with the team
Mentor, coach and develop the team to ensure they have the necessary support to perform their role
Pipeline Management & Sales Process
Leading the sales process from start finish
Development of all outbound sales collateral (with professional support where required)
Constantly driving innovation, technology and sustainability, focusing on the company's core pillars and developing new services & offerings to help us win and retain business
Developing business in new markets and looking for new growth opportunities
Assessing and managing commercial risk
Creating commercial deals
Presenting regular sales & pipeline reports for the Directors & Finance Director
Supporting and driving forward new business development strategies
Adhoc tasks and projects as required.
Account Management
Supporting the Project Managers with account management support including contracting, deal re-negotiation, pre and post event planning meetings and other account management tasks
Oversee efficient handover with the Project Management teams
Leadership and management skills
Superb management and organisational skills
Commercial awareness e.g Experience Identifying the most lucrative commercial opportunities
Experience and managing projects to tight deadlines
Risk management
Relationship management
Solid industry networks & contacts
