Opportunity: Workshop Manager Contract: Permanent Location: Lisburn Hours: 40 hours Monday – Friday. 40 The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We have a new opportunity for a Workshop Manager to join our friendly and supportive Engineering team based in Lisburn. In this role you will be: Managing the engineering team ensuring a planned and efficient approach to work. Maintaining cost control of fleet maintenance and create a culture of service excellence.Providing engineering support to HYG and related products by assessing, understanding, and eliminating failed/fault operations to ensure rapid repair and cost effective as possible. Responsibility for quality control, and ensuring documented processes are followed. Ensuring that work completed, and final component/product pre delivery inspection meets the Briggs inspection standards and that all service documentation is correctly completed (PDI & Quality check sheets). Liaising and managing workload with workshop refurbishment team leader to plan and prioritise work, to ensure schedules are maintained. Ensuring the workshop facility and top yard are kept tidy, ensuring clear control of hire teams and customer fleet. Overseeing the management of the tool store, to ensure tool control is maintained. Mentoring and developing junior engineers to ensure their full potential is achieved.
