Overview:
We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our team in a bustling setting at Coffee Point Cafe. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal presentation
- Support the kitchen team with basic cooking tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Help with catering orders and ensure timely delivery
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures advantageous
- Basic culinary skills are advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £7.00-£13.00 per hour
