This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on ledger work but is also ready to support and guide others. You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our accounts payable function, with additional responsibility for supervising junior team members and overseeing CIS compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Managing the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time
2. Overseeing supplier accounts, reconciling statements, and resolving queries promptly
3. Ensuring full compliance with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) requirements, including verification and monthly returns
4. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the purchase ledger team, helping to allocate workloads and maintain high standards
5. Working closely with site teams, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth financial operations
