A well-established secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities faculty. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities for experienced candidates.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and balanced RE lessons, encourage critical thinking, and support pupils in developing respect, understanding, and strong examination outcomes.

Key responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)
* Encourage thoughtful discussion and respectful debate
* Monitor and assess pupil progress
The ideal candidate
* QTS (or equivalent)
* Experience teaching RE at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
* Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
