An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-time or Full time Management Accountant to join a growing, award-winning business based in Bradford. This is a newly created role to support continued business growth and increasing financial complexity. Flexible working is available with this role, with the option to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Accounts: Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, and track performance against targets
Variance Analysis: Analyse variances and trends to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team
Financial Reporting: Assist in the production of internal financial reports and board packs
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, forecasting future cash requirements
Support Year-End: Work with external accountants to support the year-end process and audit preparation
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes and reporting
Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide financial input on projects and strategic decisions as required
About You:
Proven experience in a management accounting role
Strong IT skills particularly in Excel
Experience with Xero is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
