Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist with a focus on Women’s Health to join our team in Broxbourne. This role requires a physiotherapist with substantial band 6 musculoskeletal experience, particularly in women’s health. The position will be based in the outpatient department and involves delivering hands‑on, face‑to‑face clinical care as well as conducting telephone consultations.
Responsibilities
In this Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist role, you will provide expert physiotherapy services within the outpatient department, focusing on women’s health. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing a variety of musculoskeletal issues, and delivering targeted treatment plans tailored to women’s health needs. You will be required to offer both hands‑on clinical care and remote consultations via telephone, ensuring a holistic approach to patient management. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of patient care strategies, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient communication.
Requirements
* HCPC registration
* Right to work in the UK
* Significant band 6 experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular focus on women’s health
* NHS experience is desirable
* Proven ability to deliver hands‑on clinical care and manage telephone consultations
* Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills in women’s health
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
