Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a knack for fixing things and keeping everything in top shape? We're looking for a dynamic Hotel Maintenance Team Member to help ensure our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
1. Keep Things Running: Carry out regular maintenance and repair work on the hotel's equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
2. Respond Swiftly: Address maintenance requests and emergencies promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption.
3. Inspect and Improve: Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues.
4. Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, completed tasks, and parts used.
5. Prevent Problems: Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs to keep all equipment and facilities in excellent working order.
6. Manage Relationships: Help manage external contractors and suppliers, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
7. Ensure Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring all maintenance work is carried out safely.
8. Support the Team: Assist with other tasks and projects as required by the Maintenance Manager or senior management.

Ideal Candidate
25. Previous experience working in a maintenance role in a hotel or similar environment.
26. Strong technical skills and a good understanding of building and facility systems.
27. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
28. The ability to work well as part of a team.
29. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
30. A good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
