Job Opportunity: Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation that is looking to bring on board a new QSHE Manager to lead health and safety programs at a major site in Surrey. The role involves overseeing QHSE requirements across the site, ensuring compliance among various departments and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to drive change and work within a professional, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the QSHE Manager include:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the health and safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site operatives.
2. Maintaining high standards of supplier performance and developing health and safety management systems aligned with best practices.
3. Analyzing risks in the working environment and implementing changes to mitigate them.
4. Ensuring contractors on-site comply with legislation and company guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body.
* Proven experience in the built environment, preferably in facilities management (Hard FM).
* Experience in influencing and engaging subcontractors to foster safety and compliance culture.
* Strong understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 systems.
* Experience in life sciences/R&D is advantageous.
